Ashley Leisten is a comedienne, solo sketch performer, writer, and improviser from Chicago best known for her absurdist, highly-choreographed style. Ashley is a graduate of the Second City Comedy Studies program, graduate of the Second City Training Center Conservatory, and a member of award-nominated Chicago improv team, Sorry For Your Loss. She will be joining the Severn Darden Graduate Program House Ensemble, Twisty, at the Second City Training Center in June of 2018. She was awarded for Outstanding Sketch Writing at the Mary Scruggs Works by Women Festival 2017 was a featured writer at the 2018 festival. She has performed and written with Annoyance Theater Chicago's first resident sketch company, Huggable Riot, and will graduate from the Annoyance Theater's training program in the Winter of 2018. Ashley debuted her hour-long solo show, "Two Kids In A Trench Coat," to sold out audiences at the Second City Training Center's deMaat Theater on February 3rd and February 10th, 2018. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with degrees in Creative Media Production and Vocal Performance and studied extensively at the American Ballet Theater and Ballet Ensemble of Texas for over a decade.
